History

Phifer I. Johnson began grading and clearing lots in 1955. In 1970, Phifer I. Johnson Bulldozing, Inc. was founded and began doing commercial projects. Johnson Grading of Lake Norman was incorporated in 2002 and has an unlimited heavy highway license (#53905). This company is owned and operated by Phifer’s son, Ben Johnson. JGLN continues to do quality sitework for both the commercial and residential developer.
